    About 99 Coleman AvenueColeman Lofts

Right in the heart of the Upper Beaches & East Danforth neighbourhood and surrounded by quiet residential streets, sits the Coleman Lofts at 99 Coleman Avenue. Within the unassuming exterior of this low-rise building, rustic and artisanal lofts can be found, ideal for creative individuals who want their homes to reflect their own unique styles. These Toronto lofts provide the perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and customizability, all in a great east-end location, and without breaking the bank.

Built in 1991, the Coleman Lofts have a simple façade of vertical slatted wood and concrete, concealing the bright and colorful homes inside. The building also has amenities for residents to share, including a common rooftop deck with barbecues, perfect for hanging out on summer nights, and garage parking for homeowners and their guests.

    The Suites

The Coleman Lofts stand at 3 storeys tall, with the building holding just 18 units. This way, residents will likely get to know most of their neighbors. Toronto condos for sale here cast a wide net, as suites range from around 800 square feet to approximately 1,450 square feet, and many units stretch across multiple floors and feature private rooftop decks or balconies as well.

The suites at 99 Coleman are spacious and cozy at the same time, outfitted with one to two bedrooms, one to two bathrooms, and open-concept style kitchen and living rooms. Mezzanine upper floors with glass or metal railings are the real selling point for many buyers, though. Classic loft aspects are also at play at 99 Coleman Avenue, such as exposed ceilings and beams as well as brick walls, high (up to 16 foot) ceilings, and expansive windows. Some units also have built-in shelves or gas fireplaces to warm in front of.

Every suite at the Coleman Lofts features skylights, maple or bamboo floors, kitchens with stone counters or islands, and bright tiled bathrooms with built in tubs and glass shower doors. Units also have ensuite washer and dryer units, and many suites have been extensively updated by past residents, giving them more custom finishes and modern appliances.

    The Neighbourhood

The Upper Beaches & East Danforth area is one of east Toronto’s most popular neighborhoods, full of bustling businesses along Danforth Avenue, as well as quiet tree-lined streets, plenty of green-space, and a slightly friendlier atmosphere than what’s felt in the downtown core. Residents can expect more smiles and less construction around the Danforth on a daily basis.

The Coleman Lofts are just a short walk from all the gyms, spas, salons, boutiques, bars found on Danforth Avenue. Practically everything residents could need can be found here, and the Danforth Market grocery store is just a few minutes away from 99 Coleman Avenue as well. When residents don’t feel like cooking, plenty of phenomenal restaurants can also be found by exploring the neighbourhood.

Residents looking for fun ways to spend their spare time can visit the Detonia Park Golf Course to the north, spend an afternoon at the Danforth Public Library or the Secord Community Centre, or venture south to the Fox Theatre, which has been showing popular and independent films for over 100 years.

A great number of parks service the area around 99 Coleman Avenue, such as Stephenson Park, Maryland Park, Dentonia Park, Taylor Creek Park (with its scenic bike paths), or Coleman Park, which is just down the street from the Coleman Lofts. Several schools can also be found nearby, including Secord Elementary School, William J McCordic School, D A Morrison Middle School, and St Brigid Catholic School.

    Transportation

Exploring the Danforth or reaching the rest of Toronto is easy for residents. The Main Street Subway Station is a 2 minute walk away, and there’s a TTC bus stop right near the building on Dawes road that can connect riders with bus routes along Danforth Avenue. As well, the Danforth GO station is a 10 minute walk south-west of 99 Coleman Avenue.

Drivers living can take Danforth Avenue west reach to the Don Valley Parkway, or Woodbine Avenue to reach Lake Shore Boulevard East.
